All internships are unpaid, and candidates must be able to receive college credit as a requirement for admission. An enthusiastic attitude and innovative people skills are a plus!
The program will span the length of your semester. A minimum number of weekly office hours and outside events will be required for all successful candidates. We will work around class schedules to make the internship experience beneficial for both parties.

An excellent opportunity for students to gain invaluable experience. If you are an energetic, hard-working, and highly organized student interested in the field of broadcasting, this job is for you. Your day will start early. You’ll be at the station as early as 4:00AM.
There are few opportunities to find hands-on intern experience in broadcast news. The 106.1 FM news team provides newscasts for Raleigh and other markets. You’ll write, research and deliver. For the most part this is a morning opportunity with the day beginning at early at 3:30AM.
We’re looking for students who are outgoing, enthusiastic, hard working, and fun! You will assist the promotions department with publicity strategies and public relations, and work with sales, on-air talent and promotions to market G105 to the local listener community. Represent G105 at special events and sales promotions, including concerts and live DJ appearances.
If web design is your interest, a digital internship is a great opportunity for you! We are looking for students who are creative and are knowledgeable in web design. You will be assisting in keeping all websites and social media properties up to date. You will be dealing with online promotions, Photo and video creation/uploading and more.
